Here is my favorite song at the moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC2yu2a9sHk
ReplyDeleteThe song is entitled "All That Matters" by Justin Beiber. It is my favorite song at the moment because it just does something to me. I fell in love with the song when I first heard it. I love the lyrics and the beat is amazing. I alsolike how he used acoustics in the song. It really gives the song a nice feel. The lyrics are also nice. Love this Justin Beiber song (: - Marissa Sankey
My favorite song currently is "Read All About It" by Emeli Sande: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaAVByGaON0 I first discovered this song when someone auditioned on X Factor and performed it. I immediately fell in love with the vibe and the lyrics, especially. The lyrics are extremely real as well as inspirational. Emeli Sande, herself, has one of the purest/natural voices I've ever heard. She is very underrated as an artist. I've yet to stumble across one of her songs that I didn't like or couldn't connect with. I absolutely love her! (:

DeleteMy favorite song right now is "Mine" by Beyonce ft. Drake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXWsNh4ed2w The first time I heard this song was on Beyonce's most recent album. The whole album itself is great, but I really like this one the most. This song, I like the beat and how it changes up in the song. It's not a fast-paced song; it is a more sort of mellow and laid back song that I enjoy very much. Overall though, Beyonce is my favorite artist anyways!

DeleteI don't necessarily have "favorite songs", but if I had to choose one right now, it would be "Berzerk" by Eminem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab9176Srb5Y It is my favorite song because it is the most recent Eminem song I've listened to. When I first heard the song, I think it was at the VMA's last year, and I was interested cause he's Slim Shady again. He's honest in his music and he doesn't try to please people with his music, which is something I admire. I like all of his songs and I have his music on my phone. This song also kind of makes fun of people, which is something I enjoy.

At https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0habxsuXW4g you will find the song that has 99,577,240 views on YouTube; this song is known around the world as "We Belong Together" by the beautiful Mariah Carey. Even though I have many farvorite songs, "We Belong Together" is at the top of my favorite list because of the music (melody and chords) and most importantly, the way that Mariah Carey sings this song. I first heard this song a couple of years ago; looking back today, I would say that when i first heard this song, I thought that Mariah and I belonged together. Another reason why I really like this song is because of the way she performed it live at the BET Awards (you may watch it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5xw_1_kMwk ). Lastly, I like this songe because I can sing it very well, but not in comparison to the talented, award-winning, Mariah Carey.

My favorite song is "Keep Ya Head Up" by Tupac: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfXwmDGJAB8 I personally like this song because it helps me get through rough situations in my life. When I first heard this song, I was bobbing my head up and down to it because it had cool beats to the song.Tupac's rap and poetry to his songs were pretty deep, I have to admit. The lyrics were very touching and inspiring to me and it was very creative.

My favorite song at the moment is "The Worst" by Jhene Aiko. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEm3lY3trRU&hd=1) I love the song mainly because it kind of expresses what a lot of people go through nowadays, especially with these terrible relationships. The lyrics are very meaningful if you really listen, she's expressing how she doesn't need this person in her life yet she is still wanting them to be there. The beat also makes me do very nice two-step. Aiko is a new artist and is on the rise, so I wanted to look into her music. When I first heard this song, I was bobbing my head and basically agreeing with what her lyrics spoke. It made me feel good inside though, I really love the song (:

My favorite song right now is ''Timber'' by Pitbull featuring Ke$ha. This song is fresh with its upbeat rhythm and hardcore instrumental. (Hip-hop with a little western, mixing it up.) I basically heard this song one day while going home from school. As soon as I heard it I was already caught by its groove. The mixing of hip-hop and western instruments was genius, it's so rare that happens. Here is the link : http://youtu.be/hHUbLv4ThOo and remember stay timber. - Arlend Hobbie
ReplyDeleteFor the past couple months Iv'e been obsessed with this song entitled "The One That Got Away " by The Civil Wars. This song is very powerful and is very "different " . The way the acoustics are projected.and the amazing vocals makes you feel some type of way, kind of like Shakespeare . The dialogue gave u a visual, you didn't need props or a picture to understand. This song is like soul with a little blues and and country. Its just amazing and I love it. I first heard it as the theme song to one of my favorite shows, "Ravenswood " on ABCFAMILY. When I heard it, I was so intrigued that I had to find it. When I heard this song for the first time, I was just mezmorized by how emotional and powerful this song was. This will probably always be in my top 5.

My favorite song is "No Looking Back" by Damita Haddon. I like this song because it's inspires me and it brings me to life when I'm down. This is a gospel song. It talks about giving your life to Christ, and not looking back at the things you used to do. When I first the it was a few years ago, and I just was into the rhythm of the song. Now that I'm older and pay attention in church, I know what the song mean. Knowing what the song mean, I'm into the song and rhythm of it. Here is the link:http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=FBiq3-4LqQk.

My favorite song is "Love Won't Leave Me Out" by Chrisette Michele. I like this song because in one of her stories about her never finding love, she explained that love never left her out or alone and finding love in a relationship was very hard for her. She talked about this story at the very first concert I attended. She writes beautiful music and I enjoy listening all of her songs because they have a story behind them. This song is by far my favorite song by Chrisette Michele. Here is the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuTQndJxR_U -Courtney J.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite song is Sleep by HomebaseNYC featuring Coco from Danish duo Quadron. (Listen to this wondorous piece or art as you indulge in my paragraph http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSQIoaUjXXs). This song is one of my favorite songs for several reasons. The instrumentalist have a very soulful sound that supports the soul and emotion displayed by the vocalist. It is entitled "Sleep" for a reason, as the lyrics describe the emotions and thoughts sleep brings, from the writers interpretation. The fact that actual instruments are used amazes me, because I feel that finding music fully composed of actual instruments is pretty rare. The vocalist is not favored by many people I have introduced her to, but I feel that she has a strong unique voice that no other artist could beat when it comes to performing this song. I remember when my friend introduced me to her, by listening to this song first. I was in shock that music like this still existed. It is like a combination of Jazz, Blues, and Neo-soul. I love this song. I have fallen asleep to this song several nights and even shed a few tears to such art.

My favorite song is "Dear No One" by Tori Kelly because of the range and the creativity in the video. The song elaborates more on finding a love one, however, waiting patiently to acquire the goal. Tori Kelly is able to use her sense of passion for music and her amazing voice to express her feelings into the song. The song is actually an original and can also be related to many females in her situation or relatively close to the situation. I have really been amazed by her vocal range and the way she uses runs to allow her originality to be exposed within the song. I hope you all enjoy it, here's the link :

One if my favorite songs has to be Lost and found http://youtu.be/ou5uZjDNEko by Lianne La Havas. When I first heard this song, it instantly became a favorite of mine. The simplicity of the songs puts me in a serene state of mind, and allows me to be free of any situation I may be facing. Not only is the music great but the lyrics make the song come alive. I am able to listen to the lyrics of the song and envision the story she is trying to tell. When I first heard the song I played it for hours on repeat. This song is not like many other songs today, it is easy to tell this song took thought and personal experience. This will always be one of my favorite songs. -Dorian Alexander
ReplyDeleteI don't exactly have a favorite song but this is definitely one of my favorites. It is entitled "Worth It' and it's written and sung by Tori Kelly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Yfyr7wIyOU . The first time I heard it I just had to keep replaying it. It is so encouraging and I just think it's one of those songs that will never get old. I think that anyone could really relate to this song. It's one of those songs you would listen to if you were really disappointed or upset or just fed up and discouraged. I love her voice and her tone is perfect. She is definitely one of my favorite artists. The song just really calms me down so that i can function again and helps me realize that everything is okay and regardless of whatever chaos is going on everything's is working together for my good.

I love listening to music. Listening to rap and other types of music does not compare to calm or soothing music. My favorite song teaches a lesson on not giving up and getting closer to your dreams. Late nights studying I felt like giving up but I listen to this song and it makes me want to reach my destiny towards the future. One day i will finish well and make it to the top but i want to get there by getting closer to something that I really want on becoming an Occupational Therapist. http://youtu.be/c3HaVfgcBVY
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favorite song but I like this one. It's roar by Katy Perry. It's my favorite song because the lyrics were basically reiterating what was going on in my life at a certain time. The first time I heard the song I felt like it was made for me.

I have two favorite songs and both of them wass played to me my one of my close friends and I wouldn't recommend anyone to listen to them. They are both by a rapper named Problem you probably know his song "Like Whhaatt". He is a sex based artist and I have no idea why I am drowned to his music. I like the first one because it is sorta emotional and make you catch a few feelings for someone special and the second one is up beat and bounce like. Since my hometown is New Orleans I have a habbit of listening to what we know as either twerking music or a bounce song. Either way you put it i like that up beat fast tempo music....!!!!!!!!! Oh and please don't judge me by these two songs:):):):):):):):):):)
