The BTW Magnet Showcase 2014 has begun! We had our first show this morning and it was a success! The energy was high, singers were awesome, all the performers were awesome, and the audience enjoyed it. Tonight's performance should be even better and the energy will be much higher. Kudos to all the teachers, parents, and supporters who have helped make Showcase such a large success.

I think we did good, the petformances went pretty smooth butttttttt, the talking has got to go.. get your job done then u can talk once you're off the stage. Be mature about things like this. Other than that, it was pretty good #ttfu

Showcase 2014 is a time that we (BTW) share our talents and experiences with many others in the community. My favorite part of showcase as a whole was relaxing backstage with my fellow friends in CMD; we made memories that we will take with us throughout life. 2014 Showcase is an experience like none other.

Showcase, from what I saw, was pretty good. The only pieces I saw, well excuse me, heard, were the acts and performances before mine. It was straight though. *traps*

I totally agree! Even with all the disfunction and stress that we had in rehearsal, we still ended with a GREAT show! The show tonight will be even better because we will get notes to make tonight's audience satisfied.

The performance was amazing. The rehearsals were exhausting, but it came all together. I'm glad I did a solo part in the 2014 Showcase. I'm looking forward for tonight being better.

This morning the BTWShowcase2014 went very well I think the choir and musical theater did a job together. The band and orchrestra did very well also. Every year showcase has been a success and this year was the same.

ReplyDeleteShowcase went well for both performances yesterday! While rehearsals were stressful at times, we had to remember and still do remember that hard work becomes success! I know that we taught younger children and kids our own age that BTW is the best MPS has to offer! ~Kelly S.

ReplyDeleteShowcase was a very amazing time for me. This was my first Showcase that I have seen, and to me it was creative, diverse, and unique. I hope next year is better than this even though this year was one of the best years yet.

Showcase has always been an amazing talent show that I enjoyed since I was in middle school, and now that I was in it, I had loads more fun than just watching in an audience. Though I must say that the rehearsals were incredibly tiring, but all that hard preparation paid off big time. Even though this showcase was better than the last one I saw, if it continues to get better, I cannot wait for next year. ~ Timothy Alpert
ReplyDeleteShowcase has really out done itself this year. Last year it was great but this year it was amazing.You can still hear the crowd cheering after showing our hard work. All we can do now is get better and hone our skills. The overall performace was outstanding, I especially like the combination of art magnets and the diversity of classmen. - Arlend

Showcase was pretty good this year. The only part that I didn't really enjoy was the finale. The cup song was not really something that I think we should have ended such a big show with, but the audience enjoyed it.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Showcase! I dont know if I liked it because I was in it or we actually did very good. I will love to be apart of this again. The only thing I dislike about my experience in being in showcase was the talking of people and I was taught from TAPS no talking on the stage so that really bothered me and people's nasty and rude attitude was ticking me off! But then that I'd love to share my experience with my BTW family again!!!

Showcase was great. I enjoyed every piece of it. All of the magnets did very good, and for us to come together and do a performance in a week notice. Hopefully next year's we be even better.

This year's Showcase was fantastic. I've personally never seen any other Showcase but I keep hearing we were great! BTW has a wonderful program for any particular student. Being in Choir, one of the biggest performing arts, it took a lot of hard work and dedication. However, it was worth every minute we spent working on our performance. ReplyDeleteShowcase 2014 was vey fun. I wasnt able to see Showcase other than on youtube, but people I knew that came to support said it was wonderful. This was my very first Showcase and I loved it. Our hard work really paid off at the end for Showcase. I jutdisliked some people and their attitudes on some performances at rehersal. Hopefully I stay at BTW the rest of my three years and be apart of SHOWCASE!!!

Showcase was amazing! It was so creative and everyone did an awesome job. I love how every magnet was expressed in the showcase this year. It was stressful but we pulled it off and all that hard work paid off. This showcase reminded me of why I chose to come to BTW and made me so proud of my school. Well done everyone!

ReplyDeleteShowcase was great. I liked this year better than last year, it likes we had more talent could express ourselves more. It is a great experience for everyone at BTW. Showcase was very organized and well prepared. Some nights we felt that it was not going to be that grand, but we got through there and got the job done.
