  1. The 56th Grammy's Awards
This year, I was able to watch the Grammy's Awards. This award ceremony was very diverse and different in many ways. I was happy that I was able to watch the live show because I saw many well-known actors that I thought of as deceased. The performances were very interesting from the 1st time Grammy winner, to the producer Jay Z. Pink did great as well with her tricks in the air. On the contrary, I did not like how after the "Halftime Show", it was sort of boring after. Personally, it seemed that all of the better performances happened at the beginning. All in all, I was happy that I was able to watch the 56th Grammy's Awards with LL Cool J as the host.

  2. The performance put on by Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers was good. I think the party really started when RHCP stepped up to the plate. Bruno Mars singing was fantastic, as well as for RHCP. Bruno and his crews dancing was not to shabby as well. I congratulate them on having the honor to perform at Super Bowl XLVIII. - Arlend

  3. The performance by Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers was very creative. My favorite part of the performance was when Bruno Mars did the James Brown dance. I thought that it was very neat and clean. However, the halftime performance could have been longer. Overall, the halftime performance was very good and I enjoyed it.

  4. The last performance i watched the the Super Bowl Halftime show. The show was very good in my opinion i like the opening with the little kids then Bruno Mars drum solo. The solo really show how diverse he is as a musician. All I like the transition from Bruno to the Hot Chilli Peppers. In my opinion it was one of the best Super Bowl Performances.

  5. Recently I have watch the Winter Olympics opening ceremony. I have not seen something more impressive before, the performances were incredible. Hard-work and dedication was truly put in it. My favorite part was when the Russian dancers came out and danced with a partner on just showing their culture. One lady also song acapella and did great I can not remember what song it was. They showed how people had to work and factories and it moved like in a timeline. Billions of dollars had to spent on it and it was worth the money.

  7. The performance, "Thinkin Bout You" by Tori Kelly and Angie Girl was marvelous!! It was an acoustic cover of the known artist, Frank Ocean's big hit (Thinkin Bout You). The most I liked about the performance was Angie Girl's beat boxing through the whole song with the beatuiful rhythm of the guitar performed by Tori Kelly. The main singer in this performance was Tori Kelly and she did an amazing job with using her voice for the different ranges within the song. This live performance also made me feel happy, content, and at peace. Here is a link of the live performance on YouTube: http://youtu.be/3ANQl-Sbwpo

  8. The most recent performance I went to was Sunday Night and it was this group of teenagers that take lesson from this Vocal Coach and they were really good. Many were very outgoing and moved around the stage while others stood there and mumbled. It was very fun but it did last 4 hrs but yeah

  9. The most recent performance I seen was at my church. Our spoken word twins Tim and Jim performed a piece explaining how we have left God's kingdom in this age and how we need to be called back to Zion. The performance was both interactive because they blow some kind of old fashion war cry horn and it was also narrative. Our Spoken word group "CHOSEN" is very talented and deserves more recognition than what they already have!!!!!!!!!!

  10. The most recent performance I have seen was Aailyah One In A Million (Cover) by til:12. This song made me feel good. It was a good performance and also, it is one of my favorite songs by Aailyah. A male group singing it just made me get the shivers. They all sound excellent sing. I just dislike how one of them were making weird faces while singing. I havent heard any group sound better than them in my opinion. Their talent was really a gift from God.

  11. My favorite recent performance would have to be the Super Bowl Halftime show even though like 4 other people already said it. Bruno Mars is hot and I know love all his songs anyways. The Hooligans (Bruno's band) did amazing like they always do. I think the Red Hot Chili Peppers could have been cut. Why were they even there in the first place? I still liked it though.

  12. The last performance i saw was the super bowl halftime show. Bruno Mars & the Red Hot Chilli Peppers performed. Honestly the only thing I really enjoyed was their outfits along with their dancing. The band was okay, the best part of it to me was Bruno Mars playing the drums. I felt like the overall performance was weak and it didnt seem realisitic to me. I dont think the super bowl was the correct setting for this performance, but moreso an awards show. It definitely didnt catch my attnetion or impress me the way i feel it should have.-Kezia

  13. The most recent performance I saw was on American Idol. The contestants were challenged to perform during Group Week. During this challenge, they were grouped with other contestants, most of which were strangers. It was difficult because the contestants only had 24 hours to establish harmony, parts with the song of their choice. The group that stuck out the most to me was at the end of the show. A group of girls performed which featured a singer who is Vine famous, Malaya Watson. This group performed "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5 and for the limited time they had to prepare I thought they sounded pretty good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhfwd8exEHs

  14. I recently went to a Chrisette Michele concert. This concert was in Birminham. They had good lighting and a full sound. Also, she had some great backup singers.

  15. I recently went a Black History Performance at St. Stephens Baptist Church. There wereany different choirs there. One of the choirs that was from Birmingham had a very full sound and used many dynamics. Another choir wasn't really good at all. Overall most of the choirs were really good.

  16. I recently saw a choir perform at my church (First Baptist Church)! Seeing them perform made me feel like I have so much more to work on as a vocalist and how much we (BTWCMD) have to work on as a choir! Their diction, pitches, dynamics, and facial expressions were perfect! The one thing I did not like was that half of the choir was rocking on most songs while the other half just stood there! Random fact about this choir: it's an 8 voice part choir! (AKA - SSAATTBB)

  17. I watched a performance of Tamela Mann on 2014 super bowl gospel celebration. I enjoyed her singing, but I like one of the songs she sung called "I Could Only Imagine." This song made me feel happy because it's about a person thinking about what it would be like if they made it to Heaven. This song also motivates me to get my life together for God. Everything I hear on the news, and so many people leaving it gives me motivation to continue to work myself of living right for God. Here is the link: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=ukQD9aOAz2s.
