  1. This is one of my favorite songs. The name of this song is, I'm Supposed To Be in Love By Now by Jamie Foxx. This song carries a lot of meaning. This song is very smooth and he adds emphasis to the meaning of the song by how he sings it. Jamie Foxx is a very talented singer and actor. He prospers in all forms of entertainment. I really admire his work and him as a person.

  2. My favorite song is Tru by Lloyd. This song is relatable in the real world. The music goes along well with the words and you can tell that this song simply came from the heart. All his thoughts were poured into this song. Every time I get in the car, I put this song on and act like I am performing it while I'm driving. It is stuck in my head. I love this song so much, it is so genuine and it has a definite meaning to it. ♥

  3. My favorite song is No Weapon by Fred Hammond. This songs helps get through the hard times when i think no one or nothing can help me. Also, because it is written by one of my favorite gospel artist. When Fred Hammond sings you know that this comes from his heart because of how much he expresses his self in the song. Fred Hammond helps me understand when I don"t have anyone I still have God.

  4. My favorite song is I Do Worship by John P. Kee. This song is very beautiful. I love the sound and melodies that gospel choirs bring to the table. When a gospel choir sings, it fills me with joy, and John P. Kee is one of my favorite gospel artists. His music is very enjoyable and reverent to God.

  7. One of my favorite songs is In Case by Demi Lovato. The lyrics are so powerful and have meaning deeper than just words on paper. She sings about a lover/friend possibly coming back after they realize what they have missed out on leaving her. It was so hard to only pick one of my favorite songs by her because she is such an amazing singer/songwriter.

  8. This one of my many favorite songs. The name of this song is So Amazing by Luther Vandross. Luther is my favorite R&b Soul male artist I wish he was still alive today but his music is very groovy to me. His voice is so smooth and really draws me in. I think I grew a love for his music through my grandmother and mother but I do not regret it one bit. Rest In Heaven to a LEGEND in my eyes there will never be another Luther Vandross.

She is telling her boyfriend to not waste her time. The vocals for this song are amazing. This was the first song I ever learned all of the lyrics to. To this date, I still listen/sing this song.

  10. My favorite song is Auditory Hallucination by Jang Jae In Feat NaShow. This song is apart of a drama soundtrack. I like the song because it accurately expresses the regret of a break up. The song is about how you miss you former partner so much that you start to hear Auditory hallucinations of their voice and sweet words. Its a very sad song that has a hopeless feeling to it. It also went well with the main character of the drama who had multiple personality disorder.

  12. One of my favorite songs is Waterfalls by TLC. This is a really hard pick because I have a bunch of favorite songs in my playlist. However, Waterfalls talks about a guy not listening to his mother and his acts got him caught up which leads to his death. The moral is don't go to a quick, easy, dangerous, or an uncertain path because there is no telling on how it will end. It is better take familiar paths with known results, even if they are slow or less fun.

  13. My favorite song is "Greater is Coming" by Jekalyn Carr. I like this song because it is very powerful and inspiring. It is about someone who has been through trouble, but God pulled her through and greater is coming. It is really relatable because a young person my age is the artist. Hearing someone my age sing so powerfully is very uplifting and unique.

  14. My favorite song is Loved by You by Kirby Lauryen. I like that it is different because a lot of songs now-a-days sound the same to me. I think it helps that the artist that creates the song is not super-duper mainstream,to the point where you hear her song come on like 5 times on the radio in 30 minutes. It's like a hidden treasure. I've been playing this song over and over again for the past few weeks now. It never gets old to me. I also love the meaning of the song because alot of songs playing today are about drugs, alcohol and other bad things. This song brings me a little bit of the feeling I get when I listen to something like Patti Labelle's "If Only You Knew", for instance. I just get a feeling of joy in the out of stomach just listening to someone song about love. Of course it's not quite the same, but this song is the closest I can get for a song made today. That is why I love this song. It makes me feel nostalgic in a way.

  15. One of my favorite songs is "Crzy" by Kehlani Parrish. I listen to this song almost every day while doing homework. It gives me a little motivation and something to groove to while “trying” to be productive. I like it because she talks about how she had to work her way up from the bottom to the top. She also talks about how she is passionate about everything that she does and how everyone tries to count her out, but she keeps counting her blessings. Kehlani is a great artist with a unique style of writing. She tells her life through her songs and is very confident of where she came from. This will forever be one of my favorite songs, no matter how played out it gets

  16. One of my favorite songs is Blessings by Chance the Rapper. The lyrics just always put me in a good mood when I hear the song. The style of his music is so new and different. His whole album was very inspiring to me. He talks about how to count your blessings and not take them for granted. We should always praise our respective God at all times and that is a big message in this song. He tells his life story and talks about why he makes music as well in the song. That is why it is one of my favorite songs and why I love it.

  17. My favorite song around this time is Sucker For Pain by Lil Wayne, Eiz Kalifa, Imagine Dragon, Logic & Ty Dolla $ign featuring the X Ambassadors. The song is in the movie sucide squad and is amazing . It helps display how messed up the villians in the movie are and how resilient they are to change. It also a is a great mix of pop and hip-hop in my opinion. It also could help best represent the most prideful of people and how they will go through anything to accomplish there goal.

It also tells about how he has lost his friends. He lost them, some are locked up, and some were killed. This song expresses his inner most feelings and it really touches the heart if you listen to the lyrics deeply. It describes him, a strong black man that made bad decisions in life and regrets them. He is now in prison and facing up to 55 years. That is why he is one of my favorite artists and this is one of my favorite songs.

  20. I have several songs and different genres that I enjoy listening to everyday! But if I had to pick a song that I'm literally in love with it would be, "I Am Not Alone" by Fred Hammond! It is a upbeat gospel song and its basically saying that you are not alone and the Lord is with you through every test, whether it's good or bad. Also that he promise to never leave you stranded. After listening to this song I have to give thanks for all the lessons and blessings that I have encountered in life because he never left. I listen to this throughout the day and advise other people to because at the end of the day, God is with you through every step and you are never alone! This song is a reminder. :)

  21. My favorite song is "Listen" by Beyoncé. Since I was younger this song has always helped me express my emotions. In the song Beyoncé is wishing that someone in particular would listen to her and recognize all that she's done. When im upset or just need some time to myself I listen to this song and sing my heart out. Not only does this song help me emotionally, but it also helps me learn to use my diaphragm better.

When Im having abrough week or i feel like people are just acting strange I play this song to take some of the heaviness off of me and my soul. This song helps me renew myself and realize I am different from others but it's okay. Im just trying to live life to the best of my abilities with the old stressful things in life. I get a quick sense of freedom and joy when i listen and sing along. I always find myself crying once I've, but they are absolutely tears of joy and understanding.

It is my favorite song because it talks about just how wonderful the name of Jesus is. This is a new song by Hillsong. The lyrics of the song tells that there is no equal to the name of Jesus. It is one of the songs that I listen to in the morning and sing at my church almost every Sunday and also when I am discouraged. This song is uplifting!

I personally have a lot of artists and songs that I consider my "favorite". If I had to just pick one though it would be "Digits" by Young Thug. In the song Young Thug describes how things "keep going", like hustling and life. He also talks about being able to say " we ran up the digits , we ran up the money" once you've died. That's how he wants to enjoy his life, it's he his way of having fun. I also want to be able to go through life without money being a problem. I listen to this song everyday, it motivates me when I'm in a "funk" mood, and and when I'm having a "bad" day ,which everyone has. Like I stated earlier, I have a lot of artists and songs that I like but this would be my favorite one as of right now.

Solange throughout out the song expresses the magic behind a woman's natural hair. She explains how in the African American Community a woman's hair is consider her crown jewel. She believes that a woman's natural hair is a way to break conformity from the ideal of beauty in today society. I have this song apart of my inspirational playlist that I use when I'm upset, stressed, or mad. The song has a happy uplifting soulful beat which I find empowering and helps me concur the day.

I just call it 'the in your feelings genre'. Ann Marie is one of the many artists that I love in this particular genre, but i could only choose one song. Any type of emotion that I am feeling I will listen to this song and others on repeat. If you haven't listened to this song you should reconsider.

  30. My favorite song would have to be by one of my favorite artist India Arie. It's her song "Pearls". This song among a few of her others are the reason why I started to sing and why I started to become interested in playing the guitar back in elementary school. The cool strums of the acoustic guitar perform wonderful chords that once heard have to be heard over again. The entire song is just very peaceful. Listening to songs with a smooth rhythm and beautiful chords is enough to calm me down from any situation that can happen. India's voice is one that is overlooked and her as a person is mostly overlooked because her songs came out in the late 90's early 2000's and she wasn't what was considered the "it girl". But to me she is I think what every woman who chooses to pursue music should be inspired by because of her style of writing. She's not the time to just write a song and just put it on the radio. Each and everyone of her songs has a message and was written based on a story. Pearls was telling of how a mothers in a small country scrape for pearls and burn their backs in the hot sun just to assure that their families are okay. She speaks of having courage, strong faith, and strength to get through everyday life because a lot of people who have everything don't have that while those who scrape for scraps are as happiest as can be. And that's why I love this song and her other music because she really just makes you think and second guess every small thing you worry about because there could be someone in a worse position.

  31. My favorite song is “ End of the Road". The song is sung by the group “ Boyz ll Men. I like all of the group songs but I like this one the best. I really like all of the 90's music. But back to the point, I like the artist(s) because they all can sing beautifully with such great emotions. The song itself is beautiful. I listen to it in the morning while I'm getting ready for school, in the evening after I get out of school, and before I go to sleep. The big idea is that I really love the song. I like how it really shows love and expression, and it's not like music now in days with all of the cursing and stuff. It actually shows how he really love his girl and don't want to lose her, he really RESPECTS her.

  36. Out of the abundant amount of songs I like, "Pretty Hurts" by Beyoncé is my favorite. Beyoncé has always been my favorite singer because of her beautiful voice and her meaningful & relatable lyrics. As a young woman, the phrase "pretty hurts" is often recited to me whenever I complain about how difficult it is being a girl and the constant yearn to always want to look "pretty." Often beauty for girls is being skinny, outward appearance being the focus. Which is why some girls deprive themselves of food and the nutrients that their bodies need, in hopes that they start slimming down and losing weight. To remain or get in shape the natural way by exercising, it takes "blood, sweat, and tears." In the industry, being skinny is the new "healthy" and being bigger is viewed as being "unhealthy" and "unfit" which is not what most editors are looking to advertise in their magazines. To be "pretty" it takes pain; I learned from this song that to believe that thyself is "beautiful" or "pretty" comes from within, to not dwell on one's flaws because perfection is not everything. Be happy with yourself, and to find beauty, a person has to first search within themselves, it is not always about outward appearance.

  38. My favorite song is "Test of Faith" by Jennifer Hudson. She sung it in the movie Black Nativity to pretty much explain why she is sending her son to live with her parents. The song's message is so powerful! The main message of the song is that until you go through a situation that tests your faith in God you will not have a testimony, or you won't be able to fully appreciate all that God has done for you. Everytime I listen to this song I am reminded that things will get better, even though it may seem as if things are getting worse first.

She believes she not asking for much just a couple of forevers. If the relationship ever ends it will start over again because that's how deep their love is for each other. So basically whatever happens they will always be together regardless. When you get older you will understand how she felt. I like this song because its speaks the truth about a dope relationship. This is a example of true love.

    We here to party
    So jump, jump, jump, jump

    Girl, I wanna,
I wanna see ya tonight, yeah,
    Girl, I gotta, I gotta, I gotta
    I gotta see ya tonight

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
    I wanna see you tonight
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
    Tonight is the night
