Quincy Jones and various artist had a smaller group which made the words more distinct than the Virtual choir . 4. Quincy Jones various artist and World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus performances were excellent. World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus song more of a classical and traditional version of the Hallelujah chorus, their pitches were awesome and the way the basses came in was very articulate. The variety in facial expressions, diversity, and atmosphere was very unique in its own way.The Quincy Jones various artist performance was more energetic and spiritual. It was a moderate tempo kind of like a gospel song, which was awesome. Together both Performances were beyond great and they both are very beautiful choirs

  5. Both Quincy Jones and World's largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus were wonderful. They sounded strong and sung very well. W.L.V.H.C sung more traditional and sung it the way most of us know it to be. Quincy Jones was more lively and had a different vibe than the other. It was more up tempo. Overall both choirs were great and were beautiful in their own way.

  7. The World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus and Quincy Jones various artists both sounded good and blended. However, in my opinion, I think the World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus was the best as far as sound goes. You could hear all the parts well and I like how they showed good emotion. I like Quincy Jones style for Hallelujah. They wore African clothes that brought culture when they sung the song. Also, unlike the World's largest chorus, Quincy Jones was very uniformed and together.

  8. The World’s Largest Virtual Choir and the Quincy Jones Various Artist both have strong choirs that are full of leveled sections. Their dynamics are crisp and and the diction is clear and full sounding. Although, I prefer the Quincy Jones Various Artist more because of the hip hop flare and the added rifts. The World’s Largest Virtual sticks to the classic version from the Messiah and stick to the basics. While they are both good choirs I prefer Quincy Jones various artist because of the artistic flare added to the piece.

  9. The World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus & Quincy Jones along with other artists both performed Hallelujah with different types of musical styles. Quincy Jones & other various artists used a more upbeat type of sound. While World's Largest uses an digital component because they are a choir made up of people from different areas. But in Quincy Jones's song the were dressed in African clothing that shows their culture. I prefer Quincy Jones's version because of the togetherness and they just made want to dance

  10. The World’s Largest Virtual Choir and the Quincy Jones Various Artist both attain a loud, well trained choirs. They are both rich in sound and the dynamics of each are precise and clear. However; I prefer the World’s Largest Virtual Choir more because of the classic feel of heavenly angels it brings out through the choirs voices. The Quincy Jones Various Artist has more of a hip hopera dynamics that is matched with extra cut offs and runs that I do not care for. The World’s Largest Virtual Choir sticks to the original piece and enhances your through the range in tone and prestige cut offs.

  11. The worlds largest virtual hallelujah chorus & quincy Jones both sang the song very well. I liked the worlds largest virtual chorus because of how many people were in it , and it just sounded good. The Quincy Jones various artists had less people but I prefer more people , so it sounds more full. They both sounded good though. The worlds largest virtual chorus sticks to the original piece and does it very well, and the Quincy Jones Various Artist changes it up a little , and I like that authentic music.

  12. The first hallelujah was really good and it was classic and it was good. The second version of hallelujah was their own version of the song which was unique and good as well. The versions were completely different the Quincy Jones version reminded me of African music. Worlds largest virtual hallelujah was more original and it sounded very proper. Both of these choirs were very good and interesting.

  13. “Hallelujah Chorus” is a very challenging piece , I applaud the composer for such an arrangement. I have only heard the second version of “Hallelujah Chorus” twice , they played it on the radio yesterday .. I didn’t really like it one because we just sung it the original way the night before and I thought it was very abnormal. Once I listened again I liked it a little bit better , the second version is more soulful but I feel as if every song doesn’t deserve a “remix.” The Original version was very straight forward , rounded vowels and very well shaped,I was very pleased. They looked as if each choir was enjoying their version..Although the second version was nice , I would not like to sing it.

  15. World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus and Quincy Jones various artist performances were good although they share some differences .Quincy Jones various artist hallelujah was more up-to-date and World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus was similar to the original version . World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus Pertained more performers than Quincy Jones. Therefore, their sound was stronger and full. My favorite performance was Quincy Jones various artist because the arrangements were different and unique. Both choirs had good breathing and good vowels shapes .Quincy Jones version was more interesting . While the Worlds largest virtual hallelujah choir focused more on their range and technique.

  16. The World's largest virtual Hallelujah Chorus video was the traditional version of hallelujah which sounded very well. Quincy Jones and the others arrangement was very different, but it also sounded good. Both videos singing quality was full and well blended. They were both also very clean and all entrances were heard. However, I think both could have used more dynamics. The Quincy Jones version did well with dynamics at end by getting softer as they were transitioning to the final part of the song. The obvious big difference was just the arrangement of the piece, but both were sung well.

  17. I enjoyed Quincy Jones arrangement more than the World's Largest Hallelujah Chorus. Quincy Jones's chorus added more soul and emotion into their singin style. I really loved how freely they sung and the way they dressed and added flavor to the song. The World'a Largest Chorus was great also though. They sung it traditionally. For it to be so many of them, it was really distinguishable between all the parts, and they were very well blended and not overpowering eachother.

  18. The World’s Largest Virtual Choir and Quincy Jones Various Artist both had great diction and clean cut offs. Their pieces were balanced they had a loud accurate sound. Quincy Jones Various Artist choir had a up tempo beat and more of a gospel choir feel to it which made me enjoy it more. Their dynamics range in controlling the runs and extra moves were very nice and gave a cheerful mood to the piece. The World’s Largest Virtual Choir was equally good, but it did not have the spirit Quincy Jones Various Artist possessed.

  19. World’s Largest Virtual Choir is the classic version of the Hallelujah Chorus. It was powerful and balanced, just as it was written. All the voices were wonderful and the orchestra was the cherry on top. I’m contrary, Quincy Choir did a remix of the song. This is the first time I’ve heard of this version, and I think it is very creative. Hallelujah Chorus is a olden time piece, and to change it takes a lot of work and confidence. I applaud whoever did it. All in all, both choirs preformed beautifully, and I am thankful for learning the piece.

The Quincy Jones various artists video had a more hip hop and urban gospel feel to it which I enjoyed. The Worlds Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus was a great version of the original with a more classical feel. Overall both choirs did an amazing job but the Quincy Jones Various Artists pulled me in more and had an amazing feel.

  21. World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus and Quincy Jones Various Artist were both great performances. The World's Largest Virtual Hallelujah Chorus is the classic version of "Hallelujah" and was song very well. Quincy Jones Various Artists version was more like an upbeat gospel song. Both choirs were well blended and had great dynamics and pronunciation. 22. The World Virtual Hallelujah Chorus and Quincy Jones Various Artist both had amazing arrangements of Hallelujah. Both choirs were strong and dynamic. Even though , the Worlds Largest Virtual Choir stuck to the traditional style I loved how clean and how much vocal control the had considering how big the choir was. Also, I loved how the Quincy Jones choir didn't stick to traditional arrangement and did something unique by adding a gospel type of setting to the music bringing it to life . I think both choirs did a amazing job with this Hallelujah arrangement .

  23. Each rendition of the chorus was unique and talented in its own way. While the Quincy Jones version was more contemporary and upbeat, the World Virtual version was more traditional. I couldn't hear any part besides Soprano and Tenor in the World Virtual version, and the voices seemed overpowered by the string ensemble. The singers in the Quincy Jones version very unbalanced and the jazz ensemble distracts the listener from the song itself. However, each choirs cutoffs were clean and everyone was moving at the same time, creating a sense of unanimity within each choir.

  24. Though both the Worlds Largest Virtual Choir and The Quincy Jones Various Artist had great performances, I prefer the Worlds Largest Virtual Choir. They had a very full sound that just touched me deeply making me want to listen more intently. They also do a great job of keeping the song’s original sound which is something that the Quincy Jones Artist were not successful at. The Virtual Choir had good diction and managed to synchronize their cutoffs, which is very impressive for a choir of their size.

The World Virtual Hallelujah Chorus and Quincy Jones Various Artist both did a very good job,but they were both different in their own way.The World Virtual Choir the Quincy Jones Choir's hallelujah was very upbeat,I would much rather prefer the World Virtual Choir.Their song just sounds more professional to me and they kept the tempo steady with a full sound.I could hear each part clearly with great diction.I found this blog to be very interesting and challenging.

  26. The World's Largest Virtual and Quincy Jones's versions of Hallelujah both sounded very good. Both choirs maintained a pleasant harmonies during the song. The two versions also used the original words of the song and had the same melody. However, Quincy Jones's version had a gospel vibe, while The Virtual version sounded more traditional. I like Quincy Jones's version better because of it's quick rhythm and uniform harmony.

  27. Both compositions of Hallelujah, although different styles, are absolutely excellent. The Quincy Jones version is more gospel and upbeat, while the Virtual Hallelujah is definitely classical. The Quincy Jones one has a band has a band accompanying and the Virtual one has an orchestra. These differences between the two compositions makes comparing them like comparing Apples and Oranges. Although there are some things that make them similar. For example, the way the form their words and emphasize their consonants is the same. Also the expressions and movement on the face of each choir member matches the style. So, both videos although different and both great.

  28. Both Versions of Hallelujah are very good and are both very different. The Quincy Jones version has a more gospel feel to it while the Virtual Hallelujah is more classical. The Quincy Jones version is accompanied by a band unlike the Virtual Hallelujah which is accompanied by an orchestra. Even though both are different, both are good in there own right.

  29. Both variations of Hallelujah Chorus have their own unique styles. The World's Largest Virtual's version of Hallelujah Chorus is much more cathedral-like or classical; sticking to the original piece, as opposed to the Quincy Jones version of it. The Quincy Jones version takes the original piece and adds an upbeat, gospel feel to it. Despite this, there are some similarities. For one, both videos/versions convey positive emotion, and it makes you feel like going to church, in my opinion. Additionally, both choirs generally stuck to the same pitches even if they (the second choir) changed some of the rhythms. Personally, I like both variations. I like World's Largest Virtual because they sang an extremely difficult piece seemingly so flawlessly, with nice round tones and dynamics. I like the Quincy Jones version because it caters more towards a warm emotional feeling, with a choir full of individuals clearly happy to be singing the song, and on top of that, their sound was clean, and their pitches were on-point. I really loved listening to both variations!

  30. The traditional Hallelujah Chorus was flawless. Their notes were impeccable. The whole choir was together. Quincy Jones' choir did well also. I like the kind of upbeat tempo.. Both of the performances were amazing.

  31. Each choir performed Hallelujah two differnt ways but each way was unique. The larger choir had notes that were great and the also made sure that each vowel sound was tall. The second smaller choir performed Hallelujah with a different twist and this twist was exciting to listen too. This choir sung the song to fit the back ground of the people singing it. Each choir had great energy and showed wonderful facial expressions throughout their song.

  32. The two videos have two totally different tempos. I have never heard Hallelujah Chorus performed like the video with Quincy Jones, which had a very upbeat tempo that made the song sound like a soulful gospel song. The video with Hallelujah performed the traditional way sounded extremely well, but at times the sections were just a little imbalanced. Both performances have great volume and energy and have great energy. It was nice hearing the song done in a different way, so I wouldn't say I prefer one over the other.

  33. The two choirs our similar because they both sang with enthusiasm and blended very well. They differ because the virtual choir was more traditional and formal, whereas the Quincy Jones Choir was more free and soulful. They also differed in tempo. The Quincy Jones choir was much slower than the virtual choir. Both choirs did well overall, but if i had to choose between the two i would choose the Quincy Jones choir because they used so much emotion and you could see the joy through their faces and their movements. i also felt that the tempo at which they sang was appropriate because it gave the song more meaning, i remember when learning this song i was so focused on getting the words out i never fully grasped the true meaning of the song.

  34. The World’s Largest Virtual and Quincy Jones version on the Hallelujah Chorus were both refreshing and well executed. There were obvious differences in the two styles but both sounded full of delightful voices. The first song sounded more classical like the original but the second video had a hip hop groove going on. I personally think that sometimes you should just leave things original and try not to give it a remix because I didn’t like Quincy Jones version. Both styles were unique in there on ways but I liked it better from The World’s Largest Virtual because it wasn’t so extra as Quincy’s version.

  35. Based on what I listened to, the two videos were both different and unique in its own way. The World's Largest Virtual was a more original and uncreative piece. The Quincy Jones version was extremely out of the box. I prefer the World's Largest one though, because it was simpler and more traditional. I would not choose the Quincy version, because it is a little more soulful, and I don't believe that's appropriate for this song. They both were really good in dynamics; the ability to get soft when needed or louder. This was achieved in the soulful one and more original.

  37. The World's Largest Virtual "Hallelujah" chorus and Quincy Jones' various artist performances were both very good and they both sounded strong. Quincy Jones' various artist "Hallelujah" was more upbeat and had a nice sound. Jones' rendition sounded like a true gospel song. The Virtual Choir's rendition is the original version, it sounded good but it was not as upbeat as Jones'.Both choirs sounded good they just had different styles.

The Quincy Jones interpretation of Hallelujah was exceptionally deep and dynamic. They exchanged it up and made it amusing to tune in to. 40. I loved both of the choir's unique pieces that they preformed. The World's Largest Virtual Choir took the traditional aspect of preforming. While Quincy Jones added a bit of soul and funk to the music. I enjoyed both of the choir's performance and personally I think they did very well. Although I would prefer the Soulful Hallelujah because it has a fresh beat and it is very different. - Morriah Gordon
